![]() ![]() One of the most anticipated events was Penguin-Viking’s publication of three massive volumes of Borges’ work, each dedicated to a different genre: his short stories, his non-fiction, and his poetry. This “Borges Centennial” was marked by numerous lectures, conferences, and artistic projects, from concerts of Borges-themed tango to exhibitions of rare, original manuscripts. In 1999 the literary world celebrated the one-hundredth anniversary of Borges’ birth. ![]() If you have the resources to purchase one of these first editions, I’m sure you don’t need this site to get you there!
